One of the biggest things I've learned, trying to do too much for the team actually holds them back. I'm guilty of this. You want things to go smoothly, so you jump in and fix things, or give people the answers. But after a while, they stop bringing you ideas.
They stop taking initiative. Why? Because they think you're going to jump in and do it anyway.

Small reminder, but big impact. And let's not forget recognition. You ever think someone knows they're doing a great job, so you don't say anything and then realize they have no clue.
That's a hard lesson I've learned more than once. People want to feel seen. It doesn't have to be a big production. Just a simple, hey, I saw what you did there. That's awesome. Honestly, the kind of feedback is like rocket fuel for motivation.
